@northernassist Not really - just tops off my displeasure with your service today after the cancellation of the 7:22 Chester to Leeds.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, please be assured that we are deploying all available carriages across the network to accommodate passengers as efficiently as possible. Trains may be short-formed due to issues with rolling stock, such as technical faults, maintenance, or carriage shortages. Occasionally, a shorter replacement train is used when the original isn’t available, leading to fewer carriages than planned. Hope this helps explain.

@northernassist can you advise why the 15:06 from Manchester Victoria to Chester is only two carriages?

@northernassist Thank you - I knew it was delayed but they have a habit of cancelling it once it reaches Victoria which is what I wanted to know.

@northernassist So just cancelling it was the appropriate way to deal with it? Why was it late from the depot?

@northernassist what is the likely hood of the do not travel request being extended in to tomorrow morning? Have to travel CTR to MAN and currently not looking hopeful with rain and ice forecast overnight? Want to try and rearrange with as much notice as possible
