Chelsea Watego: i feel for the blackfullas who have been betrayed by hope, who have vested their hearts & hopes in everyday Austs to recognise them even with an advisory body with no power

Gutted. If white Australia felt uncomfortable about the Voice part of the Uluru Statement, just wait until we get to the Truth Telling bit

@BeastOfGoyim I was at the invasion day march as well. I heard speakers give a range of views. It would be dehumanising to expect otherwise. The media is heavily biased to the no campaign. We know there’s plenty of support for yes.

@thedijohnson On the invasion day march 'treaty before voice' was the prevailing sentiment. Several activists spoke out against the Voice but we don't hear about the Indigenous 'no' campaign in the media. The Aboriginal tent embassy's founder has been sidelined. The Voice is not what it seems.

Dr Watego 🔥on The Drum tonight. ABC had no subtitles so 🧵summarize Dr Watego's part. Host: passes to DW in segment about how to stop online abuse, asking what leads to it. Dr Watego; Well look I do find it bizzare that the conversation starts with racism in online spaces.

@gerardbrody @fionaguthrie @steph_tonkin Agree. Also, I’ve been trying to find detail on whether these changes mean that BNPL providers can no longer stop businesses from passing on their fees to individual customers now that it’s credit. Have you seen that discussed anywhere?

Defence needs $4.1bn for missiles? ✅ Defence needs $368bn for subs? ✅ Defence needs public housing? ✅ Increase JobSeeker, lift people out of poverty? ❌ Pay rise for care workers? ❌ Building new public housing? ❌ It doesn't make sense to us either.

4. Whilst suffering this generational economic gerrymander, they are also required to prop up the very generation that put them into this mess. Again, they are aware of this dynamic. The multi level inequality is one of many reasons this generation lean Left.
