TODAY: @NYCMayor celebrated 167 new units of affordable housing in Queens at Halletts Point. This is just the beginning of a project that will bring 2,000 affordable units plus new benefits to Astoria Housing.

Today, we joined @NYCMayor to celebrate 163 new, permanently affordable homes at 3-24 27th Ave in Astoria! Part of Halletts Point development, the project invests in upgrades to @NYCHA Astoria Houses, a supermarket, & waterfront esplanade. Thrilled to welcome home new residents!

Big day in Astoria! @NYCPlanning Director @DanGarodnick was glad to attend the ribbon-cutting for a new, 100% affordable building with ~160 homes for NYers, including @NYCHA tenants & the formerly homeless – the latest in our ongoing planning work for Halletts Point since 2013.
