Jacksonville police officer Antonio Richardson prays for a young man who was standing on the edge of a bridge, ready to take his own life. Richardson conversed with and prayed for the man for 40 minutes. "When I got the call … I was just there to stop the traffic. And then a couple of other officers who knew my position as a pastor asked me to come over and talk with the guy," Richardson told Fox News. "I just felt within myself that God was going to spare his life, and he did." "I was praying. And God spared his life. And we connected. And as a result of that connection, he didn’t jump." Praise God.

Thank you @EODHappyCaptain. It’s okay to take a knee and it’s okay to ask for help. I did. We need to take care of America’s sons and daughters who raised their right hands to defend this nation.

@SECNAV gave an amazing speech last night at the EOD Memorial Ball. Zero politics. Instead, he focused on the suicide rate in the EOD ranks, which is the highest in the military. He spoke about mental health. He spoke about traumatic brain injury. He spoke about the strength that is required to get evaluated for blast exposure. His speech landed with the EOD community because he talked about something that isn’t spoken about enough…taking care of yourself.

Wow. Cherie DeVaux praises her husband after becoming the first woman to train a Kentucky Derby winner. “I have to say an immense amount of gratitude to my husband, who stood behind me.” Marriage isn’t a “trap,” it’s the greatest force in the world. ❤️

Last night, I took our six year old to the EOD Memorial Ball. Someone gave him a coin, and he was super excited showing everyone…and then he accidentally dropped it…next to a table of General Officers. They all pulled out coins and threw them down. And then, they told him to keep their coins. But it gets better. Super excited, he shows off all his coins to one of my friends. And then a voice behind us says: “That’s a cool coin collection you got there. You should have one of mine.” And it’s the Acting Secretary of the Navy, @SECNAV. Pretty sure this kid now has more coins than me.

NEW🚨: Heidi Montag opens up about losing everything in the Palisades fire — and how Spencer Pratt hasn’t slept, desperately trying to rebuild their lives and secure their family’s future. His #1 priority has always been putting their world back together. Now he’s channeling that same fire into helping every LA family left behind by Karen Bass and the woke elites. Time to rebuild stronger.

@ReedTimmerUSA @225MPH_EF4 I will never forget. Looked up weather on computer before I left the city for 40 minute drive to Rural County KS. Turned TV on once home and watched all night. Man prayers I prayed for all in Moore Oklahoma. Home of Toby Keith and he helped a lot!

After I witnessed the 2013 Moore tornado, I thought it was one of—if not THE strongest tornado ever recorded! At that time, I had never heard of the Bridge Creek tornado! Then, to my surprise, I found out that the 1999 Bridge Creek tornado was even MORE powerful and followed almost the SAME path as the 2013 Moore tornado! 🤯

@ReedTimmerUSA Missed my house by 1/4 mile. It was a monster and I hope to never see another one that size. Confirmed wind speed of 321 mph (517 km/h) setting a record for the most intense surface wind speeds ever recorded. It actually rolled up asphalt on I-35 and tossed cars like toys.

On this day, 27 years ago, we chased what is well-known as the strongest #tornado in History. This shows the F5 tornado near peak intensity, just after devastating the community of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma. Aa freshman meteorology students at OU, we stupidly abandoned our Geo Tracker and took shelter under an overpass. Research was published that overpasses can accelerate the tornadic wind and be even more dangerous. We then saw the terrible devastation in Moore, Oklahoma with horses wandering down the highway and people emerging from their destroyed homes. Over 50 people lost their lives from the May 3, 1999 tornado outbreak. There was another massive violent tornado with a supercell to the north near Mulhall, Oklahoma that peaked after sunset. The tornado outbreak was still going when I woke up for class the next morning at 7 am. This is a day that Oklahomans will never forget. Enjoy the nice weather this May 3,

"Harmon Killebrew visited 8-year-old John Guiney, who was badly burned when his altar robe caught fire, while lighting candles at his parish church in Brooklyn, Hew York. From the time that Johnny was admitted into the New York Hospital, he had: "Done little but talk about Harmon Killebrew.” Johnny’s bed was filled with baseball magazines and bubble gum cards, and a lot of the cards were of Killebrew. So, on the morning of May 20, you can imagine the look on that eight-year-old boy’s face when Harmon Killebrew walked into his hospital room. “John recognized his hero the moment he walked into the room yesterday, but just to make sure, he flipped open one of his magazines. It was the same man, alright.” Then Johnny and Harmon got into a conversation. “How old are you, John?” Killebrew asked. “Eight,” replied the young Guiney. “That’s a coincidence. I have a boy who’s eight too. What month were you born?” “August.” “That’s the very month my kid was born.” To that, Johnny let out a big smile. That was when Harmon signed a baseball for him and gave it to him. He also signed a photograph on which was written: “My pal, John…” That was when Johnny got a little nervous. “If you wouldn’t mind…” “What’s that?” asked Killebrew. Johnny reached under his pillow in his hospital bed and pulled out his baseball glove. “Would you autograph my glove too?” Killebrew smiled and said: “I sure will! What position do you play?” To which Johnny gushed: “Shortstop! We play over in Prospect Park. I live at 77 Underhill Avenue. That’s very near the park!” Harmon Killebrew then made a deal with John: "If you hurry up and get well, the next time I’m in town, I’ll take you out to the ball park and you can meet all the fellows." "I’ll watch you on television" the freckle-faced youngster said from his hospital bed. "Maybe I’ll hit you a couple of home runs", Killebrew responded. Guess what? Harmon Killebrew hit two home runs for John! May 20, 1964. “Nobody in the lifetime of our organization is more deserving of entering the Hall of Fame than Killebrew. He’s in the same class as Senator pitching great Walter Johnson. Killebrew was the meal ticket for our franchise for all those years in Washington and Minnesota. He had fan appeal. He sold tickets.” Calvin Griffiths Twins’ President.

My chest tightens every time I watch Golden Tempo run like I already know what’s coming, and it still hits me just as hard. There’s something ancient in those warrior horses. Not just speed… something deeper. A refusal. A defiance. When Golden Tempo lowers that head and drives forward, it’s not just a race it’s a fight, a promise, a piece of spirit that refuses to break. I tell myself I won’t watch it again. And then I do… because some victories don’t just cross a finish line They charge straight through your soul.

There is still good left in humanity. Captain Jon Jackson was supposed to take his final retirement flight with Spirit Airlines today. But after Spirit's shutdown, he instead found himself as a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight into Baltimore. What happened next was truly special. Capt. Jackson was honored with a traditional water cannon salute and a surprise welcome celebration at the gate. This is a powerful reminder that the aviation community is built on respect, compassion, and solidarity—especially when it matters most. Above all, this moment was about honoring a fellow aviator. Congratulations, Capt. Jackson, and thank you for your years of service in the skies. Well done Southwest Airlines 💙
