When someone says surrogacy was the “safest option,” what they usually mean is safest for them. That word is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Pregnancy doesn’t become safe, it just gets transferred to a poorer woman whose risk is treated as acceptable.

Poor mental health is probably the worst possible foundation for your identity. Nevertheless it's embraced by GenZ, leading to catastrophic consequences. Much healthier to base your identity on your family heritage, profession, abilities and character!

As someone training to be a therapist I think about this often... Therapy as an institution has been shaped by/ born from capitalism and colonialism. It's a poor replacement for things typical to indigenous life (community, elders, connection to body and land, griefwork etc)

No. Everyone does not need therapy. What everyone does need is emotional mentorship, spaces to build self reflexivity, spaces to be seen, heard and validated; Spaces that support collective evolution. That isn’t always therapy. Therapy is just one intervention. Not the ultimate.
