Just open-sourced autocodex 🚀 A Go CLI that orchestrates your entire dev workflow: ideate → plan → implement → review → test • Autonomous execution with human-in-the-loop • Parallel dependency tracking • JSON-RPC plugin system • React dashboard github.com/oodaris/autoco…

@MilksandMatcha I want it to create series of projects that showcase concepts in ML, DL, RL, Agentic AI for graduate students

@thsottiaux - Avoid forcing branch names to start with codex/ - Ensure it doesn’t generate fallbacks, shims, backward compatibility and legacy stuff despite being instructed to not - Better UI / Frontend design capabilities - Better planning with an internal tool like beads

What are we consistently getting wrong with codex that you wish we would improve / fix?

@burkov You can like / use Claude Code or Codex or both. You may have a different use case, toolset, code base, skills, harness, personality, etc that can make one a better fit for you. Calling people that use Codex Pro subscription complete idiots is not cool.

Codex on the $20/month Plus plan lasts for ~1.5 days of work and then blocks you for 3 days. And you have to be a complete idiot to pay for the $200/month Pro plan for Codex instead of the $100/month Max plan for Claude Opus.

What could we do better on Codex? App, model, strategy and features… what’s wrong in how we approach things that we should improve immediately?

5/6 DX mattered too: release binaries + one-line installer now bundle plugin binaries/manifests. Embedded UI/API supports runs, artifacts, memory docs, hub mode, and terminal sessions.

AI coding demos are easy. Reliable delivery loops are hard. autocodex adds deterministic execution on top of Codex: ideate → plan → implement → review → test If you’re building serious agentic workflows, I’d love your feedback.

@OfficialLoganK Exactly. The constraint has shifted from model access to product judgment, workflow design, and execution speed.

@sama Love this. The real unlock is turning these moments into repeatable operating systems: clear action rights, memory loops, and human-in-the-loop governance.

Most teams saying they’re “doing agentic AI” are still doing prompt workflows. Good start. Different game in production: 1) persistent state 2) bounded action rights 3) tool contracts 4) human-in-the-loop escalation 5) outcome learning loops Outputs ≠ decisions. #AgenticAI

# How to log out Alright folks this is one polish item that slipped. For now, find it in menu > Codex > Log Out.

So, @embirico, I'm excited to try the new Codex app but I can't seem to change my account. It's showing Personal, but I need to log in to my Enterprise account, but when I click personal it just takes me to settings, and there's nowhere in settings to switch accounts.
