What’s better than a plate of Burrata? A plate of Buratta & Great Glen Venison Salami, with roasted red pepper, basil & house baked bread - currently on our small plates menu for the summer. Our July Booking Diary for dinner will open from 10am tomorrow Tues 20th June!

Had a thought. Instead of the media running constant articles about the off putting prices in restaurants, why don’t they focus on how shockingly the public treat restaurants. The impact of no shows & bad online reviews are hot copy & actually help us make diners better guests 🤷🏻‍♂️

@theferryinnskye @Tripadvisor After TripAdvisor allowed a review from a person who didn’t stay at my b&b calling me a liar …I had evidence to contrary ….I cancelled my subscription to them and tell guests not to review on the site. They’re not interested in protecting small businesses

Is this what it’s come to @Tripadvisor? What a dangerous precedent you’re setting for small hospitality businesses - an absolute hissy fit ‘review’ because she couldn’t book a table at our fully booked restaurant and this is deemed a valid ‘experience’ by yourselves?

@theferryinnskye @Tripadvisor Absolutely ridiculous. We also own a small restaurant and these stupid ‘nonsense reviews’ can kill a small business. How on earth can she review something she hasn’t even tried? Why do @Tripadvisor allow it? There’s absolutely no filter with them.
