I completely forgot this feature was in H2A, why was this scrubbed from matchmaking?

Me: "Hey guys there are cheaters, can we deal with them" Comments: "HALO SHOULD HAVE NEVER COME TO PC. XBOX EXCLUSIVES WOULDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM. YOURE SUCH A PC SUPERCOMPUTER SHILL DELUSIONAL FANBOY" Oh.

@Edmitsu @PaleNiimbus @Halo @HaloSupport I am not revising history, I'm not sure where thats coming from. You are right that being on Xbox ONLY would mean less cheaters overall. But, it doesnt change the fact that they CAN exist and/or the fact that you need the owner of the game to deal with the problem.

But hey at least we know now the problem didnt go from non existent/unseen to being everywhere now. It was always like that! You would fit right in with the Tekken community. @Edmitsu @PaleNiimbus @Halo @HaloSupport Even if PC means there are more cheaters, if MCC wasn’t on PC we’d still have them and 343 still wouldn’t be proactively stopping it. I do get the point wrt volumes but that doesn’t really matter. We’re talking like a dozen people, not thousands.

@theffapanda @PaleNiimbus @Halo @HaloSupport Yeah but it’s has never been as easy or as frequent as it is with PC. I played Halo and Tekken long before they got placed on PC Never seen a hacker or their antics talked about outside of custom games showcase. You guys always ignore the details.

Cheaters will always exist, blaming the device is a pointless shifting of responsibility. 343 should actually manage their game.

MCC servers are down again, but this time Infinite is also down. Curious to find out if its fixed on the weekend this time or if it sits until late Monday again.

In the latest version of my toolbox I added a network overlay thats resizable/moveable to wherever you want. Shows your up/down packets, packet loss %, and current server and pings to that server

Oh, did you think it was only MCC that was vulnerable? Or that cheating has only been an issue recently? Here's a video from early 2024 after Infinite changed to EAC, which allowed cheaters to take the exact same tool for MCC and retrofit it for Infinite.
