So Ive been a Costco member for about 15 years now, but never tried their hot dog, pizza, or chicken bake even though they are cheap as hell. $8 for all of this. My wife and I ate a couple bites and we threw it in the trash. I can see why its so cheap, it’s freaking disgusting! 2/10, wouldn’t recommend at all!

@Anthony1122112 @whyfemalematter I’m sure… because I don’t have cable or subscribe to media or sources to funnel opinions to me. I feel this way organically and know many others who do. I don’t mind that boomers succeeded. It’s the fact they’re ignorant to their economically timed advantage that irks.

So people aged over 67 shouldn't have savings, shouldn't have a house of their own, shouldn't have a pension (according to today's young adults)......but should provide free child-care & if the kids have moved away the parents should move to provide said child-care.
Nina@NinaPanickssery

Genuinely curious—why don’t more people use their own parents/kid’s grandparents for childcare as opposed to daycare/preschool/nannies (which seem more common)? Is it common for boomer grandparents to show disinterest in their grandchildren?

This new "Blame the Boomer for Everything" has to be one of the Biggest Psyops ever but: Many will fall for it and if you have looked into Agenda 2030 enough you will understand why this is being pushed. Generational divide against the elderly is imperative for it to work.

Cons: "GAS PRICES ARE INSANE!!!" 🇨🇦: "We'll help by building high speed rail". Cons: "NOOO!!!" 🇨🇦: "OK. Let's build out our EV infrastructure and start moving away from gas dependence." Cons: "NOOOOOOOO!!!" Meanwhile, they want to cut gas taxes that pay for road improvements.

@JonFraserTF These people are blinded by liberalism. If it was a conservative project they’d be losing their shit. There’s no convincing or logic for these people.

Ignores the fact that if more people wanted to travel from Toronto to Montreal every day, the airlines would add more flights. There are a finite number of people who want/need to travel that route daily. Even if every passenger moved to rail, you'd be running trains less than 10% full. If you run fewer trains, it will take a thousand years to pay back the initial investment.
ZontarDow@ZontarAlt

Fun fact: the maximum capacity of the HSR line would allow for it to move 120 times as many people between Montreal and Toronto as air is capable of before needing a relief line.

@theflyisin @VoyceReason It’s not all about you, you fucking pinecone. Other people exist. Most folks with a brain understand the term “collective good”, which this would be. Just because it doesn’t benefit YOU directly doesn’t make it a bad idea. God you people are fucking retarded

@klaptenning @VoyceReason We are nothing like any of those places you mentioned.. just because it works somewhere else, doesn’t mean it works universally everywhere. I would love if public transit could serve my needs more efficiently.

@theflyisin @VoyceReason It serves millions in Japan & China. The EU has excellent train connectivity. Just because you’ve never seen it work and your brain cannot imagine anything beyond cars, opposing something that does absolutely no damage to you - is just plain retarded. No idea why RW is so stupid.

@theflyisin @VoyceReason The proposed railway line is between two cities with enough population and it will serve way more people than a similar highway would. It’s just retarded logic to oppose it just because it’s not connecting to your house - what a freakin clown! 🤡

@klaptenning @VoyceReason You can get off every few kms on a highway. Highways are everywhere and serve a way broader part of the population than this project. You really are stupid, lol.

@theflyisin @VoyceReason That’s even more true of highways - which never pay for themselves and yet nobody is retarded enough to say “muh I don’t want to pay to connect to other people’s houses”. Infrastructure has compounding utility and trains are the best transportation infrastructure ever invented.

Why are we tolerating this? There isn’t another country on earth this good at kneecapping its own potential. Everyone else eases the pressure. We double down on it. I don't understand how we keep voting for more of this.
