Now that it’s been a bit from Survivor 50 on reflection it started so strong but ended poorly. The slower pace in the beginning set up for some great storylines but with a twist almost every episode post merge things got so chaotic the story and ending fell flat #Survivor50

Aubry’s win is one of the worst from a strategic standpoint… likely out first on both her starting / swapped tribe, gifted an idol she wasted, saved by Devens in duos twist, dictated 0 votes and had almost no agency. Luck is a factor to win and she needed A LOT of it #Survivor50

I don't get the argument that Jonathan should've beaten Aubry, as, by his and the other players' own admission, she was the threat that needed to be taken out. Jonathan is a challenge guy who lost that final challenge, his mission was to take her out & he failed, then it's her's to win #Survivor #Survivor50

As someone who missed the Will Smith slap live, this was the wildest live TV moment I’ve ever seen. RIP to whoever just lost their job #Survivor50

It still amazes me how superfans of this show underestimate the power of likability in a jury vote. Aubry certainly played a more flawed game than Jonathan, but she’s a way more likable person than him. Just because you hate her doesn’t mean the cast did #Survivor50
