We’ve now had the sixth interest rate cut since the election. This is welcome news for working families across the country. We are doing more to tackle the cost of living crisis: expanding free breakfast clubs, cutting £150 off the average energy bill next year, and freezing rail fares. I know there's families who are still struggling - we are taking action to bring costs down.

Hadush Kebatu has been arrested and will be deported. Officers have worked quickly and diligently to bring him back into custody. We have ordered an investigation to establish what went wrong. We must make sure this doesn't happen again.

@theJeremyVine Such is their dangerous driving. I sometimes straddle 2 lanes in the company van so they don’t get aggressive. Annoys them but hey ho. Same goes for cabbies. But they are oblivious selfish and not very good at driving. Everyone else top notch.

@theJeremyVine Jeremy. I work on drury lane and I go down that route every day with work at all times. 2 points worth noting. Bus drivers are aggressive inconsiderate and dangerous. I could tell you a thousand tales of bus drivers. I even second guess them and try to slow them down
