@BizNasty2point0 Given that the initial point of contact is shoulder->head and he drives upward into the face and achieves about 2 feet of altitude, I’d say this is a charging penalty. But who knows, the NHL has never understood its own rules so I trust confusion will prevail.

@Sportsnet @Buccigross @KellyHrudey saying he is happy Greig was hit from behind might be the most irresponsible thing any sports commentator has ever said. I would love for him to try and explain that reasoning to minor hockey players. Disgusting.

Last night it was Crosby and now MacKinnon gets called for embellishment tonight 😳 Thoughts on this call? 🤔

With their 5-1 win tonight over Austin FC, the @SJEarthquakes became the first @MLS team in the post-shootout era (since 2000) to win eight of their first nine games to begin a season.

@spittinchiclets @BizNasty2point0 Yeah NHL officials are dumb as fuck and apply the rules incorrectly but that’s been happening for my entire life and I’m turning 40 this year. Tough shit.

@spittinchiclets Hitting a dude in the face w your stick is a penalty. Falling down bc of it shouldn’t be. Why not high stick a guy? They might get a penalty for falling down.

Garnet Hathaway gets 2 for a high stick on Crosby... then Sid gets called for embellishment and joins him in the box. Thoughts on the call?

@timkawakami @newballpark My understanding is that Selig never thought Oakland should’ve gotten the A’s given the Giants moved out here first. He’s on record saying it was a mistake. I’m confused as to why Wolff ever thought Selig would go to bat for him in Oakland or SJ.

@Malachians @bwfast Or it shows the wisdom of MLS owners to protect their early investments in developing the league and preventing people who weren’t interested in taking the risk or putting in the work from riding their coattails on the cheap after the hard work had been done.

It’s amazing to me how they didn’t see things like the Wrexham story as an opportunity. It showed the appetite of high profile individuals to invest in lower league football but it done something that US Soccer teams so badly need. It created a romantic sporting Rocky type story that isn’t possible in the US Soccer right now. The spontaneous high in anything is relative to it’s potential jeopardy, if you can’t lose, you can’t win

@Theoldp This lot is for a commercial office building and it is not very large. They are pricing it this way because they *don’t* want people to park there. It’s for the workers. If you have business in the complex they validate parking. This is not a public lot.

The was the first Google office. Menlo Park 1998. Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google as a research project in their Stanford dorm rooms in 1996. In August 1998, Sun co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim wrote them a check for $100k, and on September 4, 1998, Google Inc. was officially born. With this investment, the newly incorporated team upgraded from the dorms to their first office: a house in Menlo Park. Google operated out of this garage for only about five months, paying $1700 in rent per month. source footage 🎥: Harry Cheung/Google
