@TweetMeRyan @bbspy Hindsight is 20/20. Series like BB4 or BB6 rate much higher on rewatch than they did at the time they aired. It’s also hard to argue that any of the twists in that era actually contributed to how those series have held up over time.

@TweetMeRyan @bbspy I also think that you’re not looking at the series and the expectations of its core audience. Post BB2 the series isn’t known for completely reinventing itself. In doing so they run the risk of alienating their entire base. The point is that they have made an effort.

@TweetMeRyan @bbspy That’s not necessarily true as the AI Arena/Blockbuster has remained in play longer than any twist has post introduction of the-POV. That said if it does end up failing it will be due to the fact that incremental tweaks between series weren’t made.

@TweetMeRyan @bbspy While I do think in general that BBUS production is very paint by numbers I won’t discount the attempts made post-BB22 to make changes. They haven’t always been successful but the effort is there regardless.
