Honestly at this point, part of me kind of wants the Alliance to nuke Thunder Bluff so we're over and done with Teldrassil.
Maybe we'll stop getting "White Boy tells older people of different cultures to get along for the sake of western ideal culture" too.

Yeah I think imma just log off for the day. Hella low point for the narrative that I knew was coming but the surprises - Anastarian glaze, Arator becoming Anduin 2.0 for real instead of learning from his elders like he had been doing most of this plot - is a bit for me.

@NotAmberBerries Them deciding that Horde are the bad guys is only part of the problem. The other part is that Alliance does some bad shit, no one bats an eye and everyone forgets about it. But when Horde does something then we have to pay penance and talk about it for next 10 years.

I say this as a Horde main.
Pretending the Alliance is equally as bad is silly, the Horde are the bad guys.
The writers decided in BFA that the Horde were just going to be the bad guys.
There's no way to make up for Teldrassil. You're picking hairs over minor skirmishes.

@thejarges @tentakvlt But there is weight of lore. Horde being warlike isn't just something that can be brushed away, it is foundational for the Horde.
Hell, Horde being a faction of Badass Warriors is what made Horde attractive to its core playerbase, including rivalry with the Alliance.

you can do all of this without going "but teldrassil" but going "but teldrassil" is such a silver bullet one-hit ko to any argument that it sinks any ship
even if it was the biggest narrative faux-pas in history it tips the "morals" so much in the alliances favor its crazy

@Typerighting Idk man, for me the main narrative of Midnight even before this was dogshit. The only things I enjoyed are ZulAman and Quelthalas stories. But the moment Arator got added, or umbric or voidstorm, it just gets worse and worse.
