They’re taking away healthcare. AI is stealing jobs. Corporations are allowed to poison food and water again. They’re slashing education. They’re starting endless wars in multiple countries. He’s using our money to build a ballroom. He’s manipulating the market. They’re dividing the country even more with a gerrymandering war. He is taking bribes in broad daylight. And they still haven’t released the full Epstein files. This is objectively the worst and most corrupt administration in history.

The SBC “Truth & Unity Amendment” functions as a gag order for women, no matter how aggressively some try to frame it as biblical obedience.
Even if you personally believe Scripture prohibits female pastors or preachers, this proposal reaches far beyond that question. Its language and implications are broad enough to create endless policing around when a woman is supposedly “teaching men.”
What happens to women teaching adult Sunday school classes? At what age does a boy become too old to learn from a woman?
What about church conferences where women are subject matter experts reporting to mixed sex audiences about missions, abuse prevention, education, theology, or ministry work? The moment they incorporate Scripture, does that suddenly become forbidden “teaching”?
Will women like Allie Beth Stuckey or Megan Basham be allowed to speak at SBC functions? If men in the audience are learning something from them, are they not, by definition, teaching?
This is the inevitable problem with legalistic systems like this. The categories become impossible to define consistently, so enforcement becomes selective, political, and deeply infantilizing to women.

Another point about RTS advertising to women. We’ve witnessed the demise of men-only (& women-only) spaces. If we can’t even keep women out of seminary (which is to train male pastors), then we really can’t have anywhere just for men.
