Seeing a LOT of people comparing the upcoming Resident Evil movie with RE7 but there is no actual comparison here. Despite some of the claims he’s made, Cregger’s film is not set in the world/continuity of the games and it is contradictory to established lore… #REBHFun

…That doesn’t mean it will be bad. I think it can still be quite entertaining. But don’t mistake it for something it isn’t. Funnily enough, with some changes - they easily could have made it a product set within the world and the major contradictions of the biohazard threat…

i love to believe these scenes parallel each other. leon doesnt want to leave someone in the moment of weakness and fear to be by themselves, he knows how it is to feel like everything is crushing down. he wants to make sure even if it was their final moment they didnt feel alone

The problem with a Resident Evil movie not following the characters from the franchise... The characters and their story are why we love the games. Without Chris & Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, or Leon Kennedy and Wesker... Resident Evil just becomes another Zombie flick.
