Here are some ways journals/editors can get reviewers: 1. Add early career researchers to the reviewer database. Make sure that the journal has a training module for fresh reviewers. 2. Ensure diversity in the reviewer database. Current representation from global south is low.

@RockSea @marpita567 This is a justifiable response and yet it contributes to reviewer burnout and to the expectation that some reviews will not be used/needed. Ultimately it exacerbates the problem. How to get out of this downward spiral???
