@themac1982 @Gkell356 Ah yes, cancelling people because we don't agree with them. That's fascist by the way. You do realise how ironic that is don't you?

Nigel Farage being welcomed at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light is a quiet but important win for freedom of speech in Britain. You don’t have to agree with him, that’s not the point. In a healthy democracy, serious political figures aren’t shut out because their views are unpopular in certain circles. Trying to silence voices like Farage’s doesn’t protect democracy, it weakens it. Fair play to Sunderland for not playing that game.

@Gkell356 Whether he's welcomed or not, he should be able to go where he wants as a British politician. We can't just cancel people we don't agree with.

God. I was so nervous. I was drunk after 2 pints. I fell asleep as soon as I got home. Now I’m hungover and alert. Inject it into my veins - the NE is red and white.

I thought the performance was actually OK and probably enough to have got something out of the game, especially with the injuries piling up again. The substitutions seemed to take all the shape out of the side though and we really struggled to make something happen late on.

🚨 Regis Le Bris on the Enzo Le Fee and Nilson Angulo absences: 🗣️ “Both injuries in training. It’s a shame but it is what it is. “It’s a bit early for diagnosis but Nilson Angulo looks like 4-6 weeks. “For Enzo Le Fee, it’ll be less. We’re hopeful for the derby v Newcastle.”
