@theMadness Even Dorohedoro s2 has way more 2d segments than before. Hopefully, the same will happen to FOTNS. Admittedly, we're still far away from the real emotional hitter arcs.

I was looking into MAL's FOTNS 2026 page and I was curious as to why it only lists TMS as it's animation studio. There's no other names present. So I had to double check the credits of the trailers and did some quick research. More below.

@king_kenshiro They announced that it would have been a faithful rendition years ago at this point. It's okay if you end up missing the message, but it was available as information, in my discord I made sure to get everyone in the loop about it.

So I’m watching the HnK remake and… something just feels off. They’re actually following the manga instead of adding filler and reshuffling arcs to build things up differently. I kind of expected a bit more “creative interpretation” there, especially for Shin’s introduction.

@hoIIowataraxia @luverofpower Possibly, but this is not a new adaptation of the same thing. It also doesn't have the same team, budget, etc. Like, it's not as if the same animators that were competent the day before became idiots after. It's apples and oranges, as much as it may not seem so.

@HtETihgdJRV2 You can find some on auction sites, there's 5 super rare cards that are a little hard to acquire, but it shouldn't be too expensive, a full box as you shown goes for about 80USD Good luck with the collection ;)

@tma285 @michaelharriot I'm sorry, but none of that makes sense. That was never 'the set up'; and the whole point is it's ceremonial, the monarch holds no power. If we want to deal with colonialism it's an issue for the government and the people; not a ceremonial monarch.
