What are you building right now? An app? A website? A side project? Learning to code? If you’re in tech, reply! I'd love to know more.👋

Show me what you’re building 👇 Doesn’t matter if it’s small, messy, or early. If it’s interesting, I’ll boost it.

@MicrosoftLearn saved. this is the kind of thing that sounds obvious until you realize you've been skipping all 3 steps for years and just convincing yourself you understood things 😂

Understand something well enough that you can explain it. Test it with three checks: 1. One sentence - Can you summarize it in a single line? 2. One example - Can you show what it looks like in action? 3. One use case - Can you name a real situation where it applies?

@elonmusk as a dev actually paying these API bills, cost efficiency matters more than benchmarks. if grok 4.3 holds up on real tasks and not just evals, that's genuinely useful. will test it.

@Skwerilleee @elonmusk exactly this. and the Lamborghini analogy is perfect, nobody calls you anti car for not buying one on a 50k salary. but somehow not having kids on that same salary is a personality flaw apparently

Facts. 300k to have a kid, meanwhile the average salary of someone at child having age is 50k and a modest starter house costs like 400k. It's not shocking that the birtrate is collapsing, people who are already struggling to survive are making the reasonable choice not to add the financial equivalent of buying a Lamborghini to an already stressful financial situation.

@KITTVT @elonmusk i get the point that culture matters, but then explain why global birth rates crashed right after 2008 and again post covid. culture does not shift that fast. recessions do.

@themccodes @elonmusk This is factually false. The ones having the most children are those with the least amount of economic success. It isn't a matter of affordability. This is all cultural conditioning (hedonism), extended childhood (immaturity), and anti-natalism (kids = "burden").

@YardKat777 @elonmusk so your take is, poor people are irresponsible breeders, and middle class people can't afford kids. congrats, you just explained the birth rate collapse better than i did.

@themccodes @elonmusk Are you dense? Poor people don’t know how to make a plan, that’s part of their problem. They just fuck and make babies as a consequence without planning. 😂
