Sesame Street suing SeaWorld is honestly not surprising one bit. The way they operate most their parks is getting increasingly more embarrassing when compared to other big chains in the U.S. market and they desperately need a whole new business model if they want to stay afloat.

@Kdodgers24 @DuelingParkNews I accidentally posted this without finishing my thought BUT it will be interesting to see what happens next for Stardust and if it will open by its new reopening date. Epic just feels like a mess at this point and I’m not sure how they anticipate full capacity by the end of 2026.

Universal Orlando has shared a statement on the Stardust Racers closure, saying the coaster is undergoing is first annual inspection and that "additional capacity and throughput enhancements" are being made.

Sesame Workshop have sued United Parks stating they repeatedly failed to honor its contractual obligations, leaving Sesame Workshop no choice to sue to protect their brand and the trust that families place in it, claiming that SeaWorld’s actions have harmed the brand.

Guests have also been pointing out that Sesame-themed lands across the parks have largely stopped being maintained and falling into disrepair.
Not exactly the kind of partnership you’d expect for a children’s brand.

Well, it seems that Sesame Street’s relationship with @SeaWorld and @BuschGardens is coming to a very ugly end. Sesame Street claims United Parks has been using its intellectual property without paying royalties and claims the parks have been disappointing families and children.

I have to say, I am at @SeaWorld Orlando today, and so far every restaurant and venue has been completely staffed. Voyagers was running 3 serving lines and even had a greeter for the line to direct and 7 cashiers. I’ve never seen this in 4 years of visiting 👀 (peep the plants)

@SaxOnTracks @SeaWorld To be honest, I’m at Universal now and they have -at least- cleared out all the debris and dead plants. SeaWorld hasn’t even begun to do any of that, so curious to see what happens next..

Had the opportunity to take @Waymo to SeaWorld Orlando today and it honestly was a pleasant experience! Honestly, I felt much safer than I have in a lot of Ubers in Orlando 😂

There’s been educators at every single animal exhibit, including the flamingos at the entrance of the park. Every single attraction has had greeters as well. Very impressed today!

Imagine @SeaWorld building parking garages with a bridge over Sea Harbor into their own shopping/dining district (maybe even a hotel) instead of selling the land. Revenue kept in-house. Tragic.

My apartment complex hired a professional landscaping company to come in a remove all the plants that died from the cold this season and will be replacing them tomorrow. Wish @BuschGardens took that much care and responsibility to upkeep the park.
