The most underrated skill in AI right now is just… knowing what you want. If you can describe what “done” looks like clearly enough for another person to build it, AI can build it too. Clarity is the whole game now.

What I’m realizing is 99.9999999999999999999999999% of AI posts are from people that are trying to get more followers and clicks and has no real world experience on actually deploying. “Improve your workflow 80% by this one Claude skill” “Omg they just released this and it changes the industry completely” It’s all bogus. Create your own workflow that is tailored to you. Don’t buy into this garbage.

Yeah I think we are rapidly approaching a point where hobbyists digging thru data really are able to make novel discoveries. The Graphs About Religion guy for example is making all sorts of interesting discoveries for his newsletter that the mainstream people aren't really incentivized to dig into.

One of the quirky things about @claudeai is that it doesn't always know what it can do -- like discover old session data, or go find old prompts. I had to teach it how to access its own memories. How much of this is just a limitation of the LLM primordial soup vs anthropic not taking the time to do post-training or whatever? I don't have a good sense of how it all... works... and would love an explanation!

Max effort. I’m not positive, but I think one of the reasons codex still wins most of the time is due to additional thinking/reasoning effort. This will be interesting to test

A few end of week ships: You can now set effort to 'max' which reasons for longer and uses as many tokens as needed. This will spend your usage limits more quickly so you have to activate it per session. Hit /effort to try it.

I am proud to announce that late last year, I sold Mini Katana to a new owner. I am really grateful for the whole team and everything that MK has given me. It was my first measurable success. I started it when I was 23 and had nothing to my name. Advertising bans didn’t stop us, tariffs didn’t stop us. Last year a potential acquirer approached us. They buy and run YouTube channels. My job was done: Scaling our YouTube presence to 30m subscribers across two channels. 1b views a month 8 figures in our first 2 years. Hiring some of the best people and having a culture I’m immensely proud of. I have a lot more free time. I will be shifting my full focus to my other ventures. (Picture of our first ever warehouse space outside of my apartment).
