@themoonkami @dv_neem 🙂
I know you don’t mean that cause tomorrow you’re going to ask me questions

I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT PRIVACY ON STARKNET IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO CRYPTO. FOR YEARS, BLOCKCHAINS HAVE BEEN TRANSPARENT - A TOTAL DISASTER,
BUT WE NOW HAVE TREMENDOUS, BEAUTIFUL ZK PROOFS THAT COMPLETELY HIDE THE SENDER, THE RECEIVER AND THE AMOUNT. NOBODY ELSE CAN DO IT LIKE THIS.
AND FOR HATERS AND LOSERS WHO SAY PRIVACY IS JUST FOR BAD GUYS - WRONG, WE HAVE A BRILLIANT, PRATICAL COMPLAINT FRAMEWORK.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! EH

Here’s everything about STRK20 in under 6 minutes
> why do we need privacy in the first place
> the issue with current privacy solutions
> so what is STRK20 and why
> how does it work underneath
> how can starknet do this while no one else can
> what does it mean for normal users and devs
> timelines for strk20
Come over and build on the privacy chain "Starknet" now.

most conversations around privacy stop at “hide balances,” but i think the real bottleneck has always been usability. If a wallet has to scan half the chain just to find users funds, then that isn't the best UX approach and leaves much to be desired.
the channel → subchannel → note slot model is a very innovative approach to solving this problem and i dare say is the most underrated part of the design.
privacy should be embedded in already existing systems and not some new mental model users have to learn.

Want to give a massive shoutout to the @chainrails_io team who jumped into action to ship multiple releases to get their product working inside of @farcaster_xyz
When @daimo told us they were shutting down their checkout SDK to focus on stable on/off ramps we were crushed because many people genuinely loved the UX of that product and @tryEmerge was the first time many of them had used it.
All the comparable products we tried didn’t cut it until we found chainrails
Highly recommend

@themoonkami @Cbb0fe S2 was combined with S1 to make up the first airdrop (TGE), so the next one is S3

@EliBenSasson yup. protocols are cool, but products will rule the day. users have to be met with some degree of familiarity, in applications they already recognize & use effortlessly
shared a similar line of thought earlier here

the endgame for crypto isn’t to be some abstract technology that requires assimilating new financial knowledge for widespread adoption, i believe it has to be integrated into technology most are already conversant with, as invisible rails that work. quite recently @nikitabier announced the integration of smart cashtags on X source: (x.com/nikitabier/sta…). this shows that this is beyond a theory now & is being validated in real time. to cross the great divide, the tech has to meet users with some degree of familiarity. chainrails.

yup! 100% agree with you here.
i think moments like this, even though uncomfortable, are neccesary. It allows the larger public a proper insight into the machinations of a DAO.
although i am curious as to how ACI's potential exit will affect the DAO's structure & governance dynamic moving forward.
English

(not so) hot take: @aave recent drama imo shows that DAOs actually work, not the other way around.
Just the perception of DAOs as happy collectives that all cooperate for a better future is dead.
DAOs are ruthless power structures that allow (but do not guarantee/provide out of the box) for coordination to extract the most value out of network effects in a given system.
I'm rather bullish Aave going forward. And in some way I'm also bullish DAOs going forward (although I expect they'll be used less and with more caution from now on).
