The former leader had forbidden it. Furthermore, Iran hasnt initiated attacks on ANY other country in the past 100 yrs.

Oh yes, you are all really stuck on that detail and must not have been paying attention. We took out the enrichment labs, but we discovered they were past that stage and had the ability to make a nuke at the missile factory. Why did we obliterate a missile facility tucked into a residential area? Remember, about a week into the bombing, there was that thing that burned for two days and kept shooting like fireworks. They were advanced and moved the material to build it there. That is the place we keep talking about digging it up to get it. It is fully enriched and can make a nuke in two weeks.
