Delighted to see Bob Olinger win as put up by our Shug on the VBG earlier today. Played out exactly as predicted where his stamina really came to the fore to see off Teahupoo, before bravely holding off Jimmy Du Seuil who ran a cracker 😀

Shug has his preview for day three of Punchestown live for members on the VBG, with four bets across the card. The one I’ll mention here is Bob Olinger in the 18:05 Champion Stayers Hurdle. Teahupoo is clearly the standard-setter, but Bob Olinger’s Cheltenham run was better than the bare result for Shug. He was outpaced when the race sharpened, then stayed on strongly late. At around 5/1, that proven Grade 1 class makes plenty of sense. Link in bio
