I’d add Lafrenière, Lindgren and Miller into the better-since-the-break bucket, as well. That’s not to say they haven’t had hiccups, but overall play is much more consistent.

Markstrom has been the best player on the ice, especially in that third period, but key #NYR players have looked much better lately. Zibanejad has taken a lot of heat — for good reason — but he’s strung together some solid nights since the break. And Panarin, Trocheck and Fox are looking closer to their usual selves. The result is a more competitive team.
