@ecoevoenviro Mass scientists' exodus to Bsky in the last couple of weeks, @ecoevoenviro. Very active; I've had approx the same number of likes and RTs on a job post over there as I've had *views* on the same post here (with 0 likes/RTs). Starter packs make building the networks there v easy.

@sMarten_Winter @ucu Would they? I think it rather highlights the total lack of self-awareness of the people earning those salaries, but seemingly incapable of lobbying for a more sustainable funding model in UK Higher Ed, which should be a core part of a job associated with such a salary.
