*I am that friend you don't need to impress, if you live in the worst ghettos I will visit you, if there is no chair I will sit on the floor, if there is no food, we will manage. Your background won't limit my friendship provided you ain't faking it. I got you, if you got me.*

@Thomas_Tayebwa surely Uganda's soils, especially in regions like central and southwestern areas (Luwero, Masaka, Ntungamo), are mineral-rich volcanic soils with excellent drainage. These nutrients boost natural sweetness (often 18-20° Brix, higher than many competitors) and vibrant flavor without needing heavy chemical fertilizers. The result: pineapples that are intensely sweet yet balanced not overly tangy or watery. Travelers frequently say roadside ones (peeled on the spot by vendors) taste like "sunshine in fruit form" and beat anything they've had abroad.

You nearly caught me off guard @JanSadek. You were only betrayed by the photos accompanying the post. Nothwithstanding the joke, i know your genuine love for Uganda’s pinneaple, avocado and other local products. Let us now focus on a strategy to address the non tariff barriers limiting access of the great EU market by our Ugandan products. With Uganda’s ratification of the Samoa Agreement, i hope to see tremendous growth of trade between Uganda and EU.

🍍A confession: yesterday’s Kalangala Consulate post was an April Fool’s joke.😃 But one thing is absolutely true — Ugandan pineapple is the best in the world!💯 I hope you’ll forgive me and we can laugh together.🤣 @EUinUG will keep supporting agriculture value chains! 🇪🇺🍍🇺🇬

Did you know that, for years, America has sold the world the idea that the F-35 Lightning I! aircraft is invisible (Stealth). They spent $400 billion developing technology that deceives Radar by using Geometric Angles that scatter Electromagnetic waves. On every Radar, this massive aircraft appears like a Golf Ball, a ball that's hit by horses. But on the day this plane entered Iranian airspace in March 2026, something happened that changed the history of modern wartare. Thermodynamics (physics) showed the world that even if you can hide your body, you can't hide your heat. I'm reiterating that physics is real. The Pentagon's big mistake was forgetting that the engine propelling the aircraft at supersonic speeds generates a lot of heat. Iran didn't waste time looking for the plane on Radar; they switched to Infrared Search and Track (IRST). I'm also encouraging parents to push their kids, especially girls, to study physics. To this device, the aircraft America is so proud of didn't appear like a Golf Ball or anything else; it was like a boiling pot in the middle of the night. Physics shows that anything hot emits Infrared light. Iran exploited this mistake using cheap thermal sensors to detect the world's most expensive aircraft and even managed to shoot it down. This isn't just a loss of one plane; it's a global political disaster, indeed a disaster. Iran successfully captured the F-35's Thermal Signature and is sharing it with Moscow and Beijing. This means any defense system America built over 30 years collapsed overnight. Now, any Russian or Chinese defense system can detect the F-35 from a distance by tracking its heat signature, without even looking at Radar. This is every air force's worst nightmare: when your billion-dollar aircraft becomes useless against a $10,000 technology. The biggest loss is the psychological impact on pilots (The Human Element). Sure, software can be fixed, paint can be changed, but you can't erase fear from a pilot's heart. Now every F-35 pilot knows they're being watched. Where they once relied on being unseen, they'll now hesitate. This hesitation kills bravery and replaces skill with fear. The Stealth myth is dead, and the world of war has entered a new chapter where heat will be the cause of great armies' downfall. The lesson is: never rely 100% on human-made things, because every structure has a backdoor. Physics doesn't lie; even if you blindfold the world, you can't erase the footprint you leave behind. Nothing lasts forever......♾️ #ThingsChange

We spent the remainder of the day in Lalogi, the ultimate resting place of Mzee Nathan Okori, in preparation for his funeral tomorrow. We also had the privilege of laying a wreath at the final resting place of his son, our leader and brother, Jacob Oulanyah. May the souls of the departed find everlasting peace.

Did You Know That You’re admired only when you win. Until then, you are tolerated at best, mocked at worst, and invisible in between. This is the law of existence: success or contempt. The world does not pity the unsuccessful man—it condemns him.

I’ve just remembered when, I was in boarding school, l used to sit near the window facing the kitchen. Then I saw one chef putting some salt in a pot of beans. Later on another came with salt again and he wanted to add to the same pot. I forgot that I was in class and i shouted. "Sir salt is already added!😂😂 Tell me what you did in school that you think of now and Laugh 😂

Earlier today, I paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, @Thomas_Tayebwa, for a conversation on the burden of malaria in Uganda. @Thomas_Tayebwa, who is also the patron of the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria, has consistently emphasized over time that the fight against malaria is a critical national responsibility, especially as the country continues to rank among the highest-burden nations globally. Today’s conversation also revolved around the Parliamentary Malaria Walk scheduled for 26 April 2026 at the Parliament of Uganda. The event aims to raise awareness, inspire collective action, and advance toward zero malaria deaths in line with this year’s World Malaria Day theme. As a champion in the fight against malaria, drawing from my work as a media personality who has long covered stories on the negative impact of malaria on communities, I strongly believe that no one should die from a preventable and treatable disease like malaria, and that ending these unnecessary deaths is within our reach through united national effort, community involvement, and initiatives such as malaria-free schools.

The Ambassador of @ItalyinUganda, H.E. Mauro Massoni, paid me a courtesy visit at Parliament today afternoon. We had constructive and forward-looking discussion on strong bilateral relations between Uganda and Italy, with particular emphasis on expanding trade, investment, and private sector collaboration. I expressed my sincere appreciation for Italy’s continued partnership and its tangible contributions to Uganda’s development agenda. Italy, through its development cooperation framework and institutions such as the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), has been actively supporting initiatives in Uganda that focus on sustainable development, healthcare, agribusiness, and private sector growth. These efforts are aligned with Uganda’s national priorities, including industrialisation, agricultural modernisation, and job creation. @ItalyinUganda
