Question because I'm curious, when you got into hermitcraft did you go check out the previous seasons as well? When I started watching in s9 I was so desperate for more content I watched every scar's episode up to s5, recently I barely see people talk about anything before s9

As things stand, Scientology is trying to spin the so-called raids as something beyond trespassing—often lying to 911 dispatchers about what’s happening, such as “break-in” or “forced entry.” The legality of the speed runs is a fascinating lesson for first-year law students. The building is open to the public, and signs indicate that all are welcome to enter. Once inside, there are no signs indicating off-limits areas, staff only, or do not enter. The runners have been legally invited into the building. Once inside the facility, that’s where things become interesting. Trespassing doesn’t occur until a person is asked to leave and refuses. Merely being asked to leave doesn’t constitute trespass; refusing does. Additionally, if Scientology staff block the path to the exit, a person could argue that, with the entrance blocked, they proceeded to find another exit. From a legal viewpoint, these raid teams are bad guests who don’t become trespassers until asked to leave and refuse. However, if the so-called church blocks the front entrance/exit, the runners must find an open exit to comply with the order to leave. That said, if a person is served a trespass notice and told never to enter again, entering the facility becomes trespass. From what I’ve seen, no one has been issued such a notice. Scientology invests heavily in lawfare, so I assume their lawyers are seeking a way to serve these notices without unlawful detention of alleged trespassers.

It's due to Capitalism we don't use standardised plug sockets, largely because each individual country tried to protect their home production of electronic goods. Of course now it is all made in China anyway, but we still have a dozen pointlessly different plug sockets.

I wish milkmen would come back
Sama Hoole@SamaHoole

In 1995, 45% of British milk was delivered to the doorstep before seven in the morning by a milkman in an electric float. In 2026, it is 3%. The milkman has been effectively abolished inside one human generation. The supermarket walked in, undercut the cost by a few pence per pint, and the daily ritual of British household life, glass bottles clinking on the step at half past six, was gone by the time the children of 1995 had finished secondary school. The cost to the customer was a few pence per pint. The cost to the system was, in rough order: the glass bottle that was washed and reused hundreds of times, replaced with a plastic bottle that is used once and recycled imperfectly. The local dairy that supplied one town, replaced with a national processor that supplies half the country. The milk that arrived four hours after milking, replaced with milk that arrived three days after milking after a journey of 200 miles. The conversation on the doorstep, replaced with a self-checkout beep. The milkman himself, incidentally, had the lowest recorded rate of heart disease of any male occupation in Britain. He walked approximately 12 miles a day, finished work by 10am, and ate a cooked breakfast. He has been replaced, in the same delivery role, by a zero-hours Amazon Flex driver sitting in a Ford Transit. A small piece of British daily infrastructure was quietly demolished. Nobody was consulted. The milk is still being produced. It is just being produced further away, transported further, kept in plastic, and sold at a different margin, by a different business, to a customer who never sees who milked the cow. The milkman knew your name. The self-checkout does not.
