@thepmofam Doesn't sound like a fun experience when you are fighting as much spam as useful messages, I suggest using a better and secure platform 👍 Personally Matrix ftw, but ymmv. I've heard nothing but horror stories about Telegram honestly, so surprising that anyone still uses it 🤯

We find ourselves in a bit of an odd predicament with a highly conditional, Level 2 out of 5 Slight Risk of severe weather having been blanketed across the UC today…on a day when storm coverage is likely to be very limited. Indeed, we could see a couple of thunderstorms pop up this afternoon. Most areas are likely to remain dry (and hot). However… Any storm that does form today will likely grow very tall and cause problems with downburst damaging wind gusts, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning and a highly localized monsoon. These are the types of storms that develop quickly and can produce damaging winds with little or even no warning. Hail is also possible. For many of us, the probably of damaging winds occurring within 25 miles of any location is 30-44% — definitely elevated. Basically, this isn’t a day you want that big towering storm to develop on top of you. There is no set timeframe other than ‘afternoon and early evening.’ We don’t have a system moving through that we can track. Any activity today will be very isolated in nature. Tornadoes are highly unlikely, but I want to remind you that ‘DAMAGING WINDS’ can produce DAMAGE — very similar to that of a weak tornado. If you’re reading this on our social media pages, I’m not including any model imagery, because there really is no point. Again, we don’t know when or where storms will fire or if our region will even be targeted, per se. There are tons of subtle atmospheric nuances in play that will determine what areas in Tennessee are picked on and who is left alone. May the odds be in your favor. The other story today remains the extreme heat. Unless you’re up on the Plateau, most areas will climb will into the 90s this afternoon — perhaps even pushing 100° in some of our westernmost locations closer to Nashville. Heat index values of 100° to 110° are likely. It’s summer. It’s hot. This isn’t anything new or out of the ordinary for us, but I do want to caution you to please take care of yourselves and those who may be vulnerable in these conditions. Any lingering storm activity will likely end this evening with patchy fog possible in areas that experienced rain. Lows will fall into the low to mid 70s. We’ll do it all over again tomorrow with sunny skies and a low-end probability of damaging wind gusts with any isolated strong storms that form in the afternoon. Highs will again be well into the 90s with heat index values of 100° to 110°. …and we’ll play this game again on our nation’s Semiquincenteninal this Saturday. As of now, we are not outlooked for severe weather, but we will be hot and muggy with a low chance of a pop up afternoon shower or thunderstorm. It’s not out of the question a couple of locations could be dodging storms around peak fireworks time, but most areas will likely remain dry with no weather worries. Heat will gradually begin to back down just a bit Sunday and into next week with highs retreating to the upper 80s to lower 90s. Rain and storm chances will increase Monday through Wednesday of next week.

ONE YEAR LATER. She is still fighting. She is in the .0001% of superhero dogs that can continue living with no kidneys. We all need a hero in this life, Jenny has been one of mine! ❤️

@nofearferret @SnazzyLabs I was mainly talking about the cheap feeling. It's also probably not as optimized as it should be so it's probably got a lot of lag issues. I'm only speculating here as I don't actually have the phone but that's how a lot of these off brand phones go.
