It's #WhatIsItWednesday! Look familiar? Pictured here is an item from our collections. Can you guess what it is/what it was used for? Last week, we shared this photo of a Hmong baby carrier, often called daim nyias in Hmong.

@douglasmack My wife used to drink Ovaltine. It was one of the things that convinced me that she was secretly 80 years old. Love of Lawrence Welk and “Wheel of Fortune” were other clues.
In 1962, JFK chose this font for “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” on fuselage of Air Force One because it resembled typeface of an early printed version of the Declaration of Independence:
@JaredGoyette I did it a few times (Hopkins-St. Paul). It's great if you've got three hours before and after work (total), but it just wiped me out. Wish I had a closer office.
I biked to work. 19 miles each way. Minneapolis to Eden Parie. I was not fast. At no point did I look athletic. Hills are not in my vocabulary. But I kept going, kinda.
@douglasmack@ArielDumas I remember interviewing a beekeeper in MN about 10 years ago who said his dad invented the bear-shaped bottle. And I clearly remember thinking, "No he didn't."
@bizarrealbums I was working on a typewriter repair when listening to this episode. Kept laughing so hard that I lost (and later found) a few small parts.
