@mwayne757 I don’t hate on the PGA. I’m a PGA Member. I think the move to May has been great. The switch has been great for both tournaments in my opinion. Phil won the PGA at 115th in the world. It was historic. The purpose of this was to compare the players to the other majors.

@therealGFD There are facts, but I'm skeptical that this "statistic" is one of them. I don't understand why you Ponte Vedra guys hate on the PGA Championship so much either. What's the deal there?

Since THE PLAYERS moved to March, it has a stout list of winners. Here's the average world ranking for winners in THE PLAYERS and the majors since 2019: THE PLAYERS: 6 Masters: 6.43 PGA: 26.71 U.S. Open: 20.29 The Open: 12.57

@JayBarlowBot They’ve only won two majors. I shared the average without the LIV guys as well. It’s not a huge difference

The last 3 winners of the Valspar Championship were outside the top 50 in the FedEx Cup and 3 of the last 5 were outside the top 90 in the OWGR. Longshots have a very real chance at the Copperhead Course. Let's take a look at my favorite value plays this week...🧵

@MLS_AfterDark Phil did win in this span at 115th in the world. It was a historic win becoming the oldest to win a major. Make of that what you will

@therealGFD The bigger take from this tweet is just further proof how trash the PGA championship is

@marctobolski It certainly is. I'm not sure if that's the cause of this however. Everyone who won The Open has been a PGA Tour player, eligible for THE PLAYERS. Everyone whose won all these events are except the two LIV players. I don't know the cause of this, but I find it interesting.

@therealGFD So, with OPENS, you have a broader spectrum of players with a chance to win. Thanks for showing that .
