As a comms person, I’d say Mic Ultra has some of the best branding/marketing I’ve seen. Viewed broadly as the “healthy” or “athletic” beer because it has 1 less calorie than miller, has a slim skinny can design, and partners w/ Olympics, tennis, golf etc. Generational spinning,

At one point in time, UB basketball chose not to hire Bryan Hodgson because they didn’t believe he was mature enough to be a college head coach. Fast forward seven years and he’s 70-36 in three years as a head coach at Arkansas State and South Florida and just guided USF to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2012 and first conference tournament title since 1990. Hodgson is likely going to have his choice between the Syracuse/Providence jobs or staying in Tampa. He likely wouldn’t have stayed in Buffalo long but what a mistake by UB never giving him a chance back in 2019 and they’re still facing the consequences to this day.
