Just beat #SAROS today! This game was absolutely fantastic, and is my current game of the year as of now! It’s not perfect (will go more into detail in the replies) but I thought the game was more fun than Returnal and I really adored this games art direction and soundtrack!!! 🧵

I really wanna talk to someone about what I liked and didn’t like about #SAROS but nobody I know is playing it right now…

I know a lot of people are probably gonna disagree with my take, but that’s just how I felt when playing. Also I didn’t like how much easier the first half of the game felt compared to Returnal! I literally didnt die till like the 4th biome (super weird)

Again, I know it sounds weirds, but to put it simply. I think Returnal handled the rogue like cycles better due to its more risk vs reward gameplay, keeping each cycle fresh. Meanwhile Saros shines even brighter when it comes to combat, making each encounter feel more rewarding!

This is where I think Saros really shines! When it comes to art direction and the audio, Saros is practically an 11/10! I gotta give Housemarque their props 😎

The environments in SAROS are some of the best I’ve seen.
