We have met with The Silk Toad Team with a proposal based on the community’s feedback from the last couple of days. Our three main goals were to move on from the situation that transpired between the ST and DS in a way that the community agrees with, open the world of Disco Solaris even more, as requested, and put the reigns in the hands of community members who have been actively involved in the Disco Solaris Universe since the OG era. Thank you for all your proposals. We have decided to offer the brand of Disco Solaris to The Silk Toad for a symbolic payment of 1$, as a sign of good will towards the community and they've accepted the offer. This way The Silk Toad can continue leading the project in place of the DS Team, and foster the community’s endeavours. Expect some change over time as we move to sign the agreement. This is a hard moment for us, as we poured our hearts into the project for 2 years, created something special that we’ve always been proud of and worked hard to stay true to our vision of a nostalgic, retrotopian universe that captured so many creatives in the Cardano space. Hi everyone. We did not want to post an update before we had something more specific to broadcast, at the same time we understand our radio silence is frustrating. We had to discuss the situation with the team over the weekend, agree on the possible plans of action, and offered to meet with The Silk Toad in order to talk about our proposal. The current situation is not helping anyone, and we believe that both teams should put their differences aside and find a solution that’s best for the community and the Disco Solaris Universe. We also have an alternative plan, and we’ll update you as to what we’re moving towards. We will leave the discord/comments temporarily closed, but will open them once we have something more specific to announce. Thank you for your patience. The solutions we’re considering focus on the community and making sure the Disco Solaris Universe is here to stay.
