BTW, won't post who, but Edna got into it with a former NHL player who, for some odd reason, in December thought Habs didn't have the "Culture" to win. The "I have played the game" card was played. The point was the "Culture" narrative is overused and dumb. They were on a losing streak in the regular season. It happens to all teams. No reason to go overboard and claim all is lost.
How can we say the 2nd youngest team in the NHL with this much talent doesn't have the culture to win? Now they are already in the same season 3 wins from the finals.
"Culture" IS an overused buzz word in hockey. Sure, in some instances you can bring it-up, but nowadays it's such a lazy narrative that offers little context.

Man, many of us have been screaming this for yrs. Funny, the yr Treilving built a team to "beat" Florida, neither team makes the playoffs. Playing to your strengths & identity is key. Hopefully Chayka can bring the Leafs back to skill, speed, & strong puck possession.

This baseball tournament turned into chaos.

This mother is catching some flack because she said she sits on the opposite side of the parents on her son’s baseball team. Looks like the outfield. She said she can’t stand the constant chatter and lingo - “Good eye!” , “You got a piece of it.!” , etc. and all the talk in the bleachers. Many put her down saying she is not a team player as a parent. But some others said they agreed with her. I am with her. I usually sat down the line on first or third base. I want to watch the game and not chatter all night and listen to moms and dads coach their kids from the stands. Or all the gossip. I totally get it. Do you understand where this momma is coming from and feel like she does or do you think it’s rude of her to disassociate with the other parents during the game?

A regular-sized sandwich, a bag of chips, and a soda cost you like $17 now at Jersey Mike's, then they ask for a tip on their tablet, making the total close to $20. Wealthy people don't care because they don't need to budget, but for middle-class Americans, this is a big problem.

Was just at LCBO to get some Canadian Rye for my buddy who is coming over to Punta Canada to watch the Habs game tonight and was chatting with the clerk. I said “I’m not that into hockey but it’s Canada’s last team in the playoffs” and she said “well we’re ALL into Canada!” 🇨🇦
