At the Supreme Court on Wednesday we were all advised by My Lord the presiding justice to withdraw our pending LPDC appeals. There is currently no recourse for practitioners after LPDC. This needs to be addressed by the profession immediately.

@olayinka_pen @sen_adekunle “Counsel, if we want to go that route, what law creates this court? Open to section 233, can this court hear appeals from any other court other than the Court of Appeal?” There were 3 other attempts. I even tried section 13 of the LPA for a directive or something

Dear lawyers on the timeline, Let’s play a game. I will give a principle of law and cite an authority on it. You will quote it with a principle of law and add a case law also. I’ll go first: A Court can convict a Defendant on murder even without the body of the deceased (corpus delicti) being recovered, relying on strong circumstantial evidence. Ahuchaogu v. State (2024) 13 NWLR (Pt. 1954)
