@TheTrueVanguard for double the loot it makes sense. it takes me no time to grab both reds between processing and dorms bc everyone runs inside buildings. commanders drop reds and you can find them in the lesser locked rooms too. if solo was quick and easy what would the point of teams be

Okay, these new Outpost changes genuinely suck for solo play. I'm disappointed. I just had a run where I killed more than half the lobby, 5 players. I had 2 red keys from antenna's, 3 orange keys, 3 green keys. I was stacked and I earned it. BUT - Pinwheel vault room now needs 3 red keys to open. Other players grabbed the antenna keys and exfil'd early meaning I had to rely on RNG purple enemy drops. None dropped, so the room was perma-closed. - Command Wing now has 2 purple enemies and at least 4 blue enemies. This caused a solo clear of the room to take considerably longer, I lost a lot of time. - New strongbox locations are not intuitive and just don't make sense. In weird locations that I think are supposed to encourage fighting ads instead of looting and running, but they're in weird spots now. For real, if I kill almost every player and make the last 2 run from the match, I should be able to loot everything because I feel like I earned it.

@savio_7_ @LuhJonz @IGN it is very slow at first, you’re right. that’s corrected when you upgrade factions, which is part of the climb of tough entry. the further you get, the more insane the gameplay feels. it’s definitely a niche game for sickos (me)

another thing: most ppl don’t understand business acquisitions, & it clearly shows when they compare what a company ‘paid’. a huge part of acquisition is intelligence. Sony wanted to see + own the blueprints for bungies live service + mtx, which can be utilized in other studios.

marathon was always going to be niche, its extraction. it’s a gorgeous game, but its hardcore pvp. hopefully sony can see there’s room to break between funko pop dad brown mil sims and realize the infinite growth era is long gone
