@Theblackfemini3 swathes a few years ago north of Narrabri . Farmer was losing diesel all the time . Left a 44gal drum with a hand pump in it near the road. about 30 litre diesel and a cup of Glyphosate. On the way to town next day 4wd pig chasers ute on side of road , bonnet up , motor seized

Farmers are being robbed of diesel from their properties and vehicles amid a global fuel crisis that is forcing many to consider selling off some of their animals to survive. Several farmers in regional Victoria said they were now being forced to drive all of their equipment up to their homes each night – as far as 30 minutes away from their crops and animals – to guard against thieves. Krowera farmer Shane Uren revealed he had 250 litres stolen from a tractor about 2am on Friday and was now resorting to sleeping in a caravan on the property. “I couldn’t believe it, 250 litres just gone like that,” Mr Uren said. “With the price of diesel a tractor is costing $1000 a day to fill up, $1000 for a day’s work. @kelvin_hams I'm thinking it has the same engine as a 1156 versatile. I talked to a guy that worked for a farmer using a newer CASEIH with DEF and a 1156 with about the same horsepower and I said the older versatile with the K-19 Cummins uses less fuel probably. He smiled and said yes.

Just gonna throw this out there but bringing Ammonium Nitrate production back online wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world. It’s far superior over urea.
