Still stuck on TWO TOTAL complete games throughout #MLB in 2026 (Alcantara & Kirby). It's May 5. In my day, half the starters in the entire league would have two complete games each by this time.

@baseballinpix Miss you, Foss. It took me years to warm up to him and appreciate him on the A's broadcasts, but once I did, I enjoyed and respected Mr. Fosse immensely. Sobbed like a child when he passed.

Gene Tenace, Reggie Jackson, and Ray Fosse as part of the mustache gang. Fosse joined in 1973, helping the A's finish the threepeat the next season

I’ve come to the conclusion that people that park in a handicap spot that aren’t handicapper or don’t have the right to do so are just bad human beings.

@mattnahigian The optics are terrible, even if they did need the roster spot for a few days. Same thing that happened to Hayden Birdsong in '24, I believe it was.

One day, @SFGiants broadcasters Duane Kuiper, Mike Krukow and Jon Miller, all in their 70s, will retire. After decades with SF. They've already cut back travel. What keeps me from dreading that day is knowing the great #DaveFlemming will still be here to lead the next generation.

@BayAreaTrev It certainly didn't slow down the door closing on his tenure. He did not help SF in any way.

Fernando Tatis Jr coming into this series with 0 home runs might be the most ominous stat ever

Wait, I just thought of something. How about this crazy idea that no one has thought of. Let’s bring Bryce Eldridge up and see what he can do. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I just want to put something out there.

I absolutely dig this. Both Randy Johnson and Ichiro became Hall-of-Famers wearing #51 for the Mariners. They retired #51 for Ichiro in '25 and SAT they retired it again for Johnson. With Ichiro present and posing for this 51 selfie with Johnson. Baseball is incredible. #mlb

Learned in the past 48 hours: * Willie Mays, in addition to being a fierce slugger, also had multiple years leading the NL in steals. I SHOULD HAVE already known that. #sfgiants * The talented Carlos Carson exists, and * The talented AND lovely Diane Franklin exists.

@NBCSGiants I think it was Yordan Alvarez who lost a homer there in similar fashion.

*Takes deep breath* Heliot Ramos hits a long flyout, which he thought hit a catwalk at Tropicana Field and therefore should have been a home run, but after review, the call on the field stood, which led to pitcher Adrian Houser and assistant coach Frank Anderson being ejected.

@NBCSGiants I have never heard of assistant coach Frank Anderson. Every day it turns out I know this team less than I think.

@Mark_T_Willard Devers just came close, but at least he did SOMETHING and the Giants actually SCORED for once.

Even when the #sfgiants hit a homer, they don’t hit a homer.
