Looking to connect with solo founders. What are you building?

Good call. I’ve always felt learning the machine itself is easy. To truly understand the entire process, especially during the design and slicing stages, is the ultimate goal. It’s like working with excel. Even after 13 years I still learn something new every time we work on a project or order.

@thetechdeckusa @X That last point is usually the most valuable one. Good DFM can mean changing the geometry, changing the material, or deciding that additive is only the prototype process. The machine is rarely the hard part.

Hey @X community: One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned running a family-owned 3D printing business: The printer is rarely the limiting factor anymore. The real advantage comes from knowing which material to use, how to design for manufacturing, and when not to print something.
