Using the @ValleBaseball K47 to work on some picks, incorporating rhythm and timing.

Just because can get in front of it, doesn’t mean you should. If she gets in front of this here, there wouldn’t be a double play, as her momentum would carry her away from second resulting in a weaker throw.I preach to my girls all the time you should be just as strong at backhand

Reading the hops. Knowing when to attack forward on the run and when to take a step back to see the hop longer depends on how the ball is hit and who is running. Because they both took a step back, they were able to see the ball longer, field it clean and produce an out.

Exactly why I love using training gloves. Was working short hops with @ValleBaseball and I came up too soon and had no shot of fielding it. These training gloves (this one is the K47 and only 7 inches) reinforce staying down and through the ball in order to catch it in the pocket

Using @ValleBaseball Eagle8. Because the training glove is so small, she is forced to be in the proper fielding position (chest down, back flat, eyes behind the glove). Since there is barely any web, this glove also forces her to catch it in the pocket.

Play to the right of the ball (right foot hits to the right of the ball) so once your left foot hits, the ball is more on the left side of your body and you’re able to keep everything fluid. I always try to show examples of what I teach.

My latest YouTube video “Throwing on the run - straight ahead.” 1)Work on just the throw. Addy is using @ValleBaseball pancake to receive and get rid of the ball. 3) Start to use the legs. Addy starts jogging, while throwing off her right leg. 4) Put it all together.

Slow hands aren’t an option around here. Addy knows what’s up. Using @valletraininggloves EagleKK flat glove to work on those quick transfers. In order to quicken the hands, the feet have to be just as quick. Step/catch same time with the glove foot while keeping the steps short

Big fan. Easy to move, no hard come backers to hitter. Saves balls due to loose netting contact to anything on screen. Brilliant. I’d rather buy 1-2 for big price than 4-5 and up keep constantly, patch holes

In high school my dad paid for hitting lessons. I don’t remember a single thing from those lesson. I do however remember how hard he worked to pay for those lessons. Thanks dad. #Loveyapops.
