I would probably say that the Evangelion Rebuilds are the worst movies I have ever seen. There are films which are less technically competent, sure, but the Rebuilds are unique in their pure lack of artistic merit and the sheer cowardice inherent to their existence.

Many works with attractive female characters now have two audiences, one of men who want to fuck the girls, and one of people who identify with those girls as idealizations and it's common for these audiences to be in conflict. You can see it with Umamusume, for example.
