@Scott_Wiener You obviously don’t care whatsoever about the impact of wind farms on marine life which is well documented. Shameful

Every time you think this regime can’t get any dumber & can’t do more to harm American economic strength, it finds a new low — here, killing a wind energy project & diverting the funds for new fossil fuel generation.

People have a right to whatever religious beliefs they want — even if those beliefs dehumanize other people — but they don’t have a right to hijack their employer to promote those hateful beliefs at a job-related event. MLB didn’t penalize them for their faith. It penalized them for violating the rules of their employment.
Josh Hawley@HawleyMO

What does MLB think it’s doing penalizing players for their Christian faith? They owe us some answers. Right now.

Elements of MAGA conspiracy: 1. Vast network of LA voters communicate telepathically to surge vote for Raman. 2. They vote later rather than earlier to draw attention to themselves and to piss off MAGA. 3. They also vote for Measure ER to fund hospitals just to mess with MAGA.
Gina Beana Fofina@Ginasassyass

Los Angeles County’s Measure ER, a 0.5% sales tax increase to fund healthcare services, narrowly passed after days of counting. Early returns and in-person voting showed strong opposition. Then a surge of late mail-in ballots flipped it to Yes 50.6% – No 49.4%. This isn’t the first time late-counted mail ballots have dramatically shifted a close California race. Voters who went to the polls in person largely rejected raising their own taxes. The late ballots that decided it broke heavily the other way. Whether it’s legal ballot harvesting, demographic differences in who votes by mail, or something worse, the result is the same: public trust takes another hit. California already has some of the loosest election rules in the country (universal mail ballots + harvesting). When outcomes hinge on the last batches counted, people are right to demand answers. We need: Full forensic audits of close races Stronger chain-of-custody rules for mail ballots Voter ID requirements that actually mean something Election integrity isn’t a partisan issue, it’s the foundation of self-government. What happened in LA County should concern every American who care about fair elections.

Democrats massively outnumber Republicans in LA by nearly 4 to 1. Republican Spencer Pratt ran an in-your-face MAGA campaign in deep blue LA. If you’re screaming fraud because Pratt lost, then what you’re really saying is you hate democracy. Or you don’t get math. Or both.
Vulture@vulture

Spencer Pratt said he’d leave L.A. if he lost the mayor’s race. Now he’s calling anyone who believed him a ‘dim-witted jerk.’ In his concession video, he also calls his opponents, two women of color, ‘commie animals.’ vulture.com/article/spence…

It’s beyond sickening that Elon Musk – the world’s first trillionaire – pays a lower effective tax rate than truck drivers, firefighters, or nurses. It’s not complicated – we need to actually TAX THE RICH. nytimes.com/2026/06/12/tec…

The Acting AG, @DAGToddBlanche, is a national disgrace. His actions in covering up the Epstein Files to protect trump are unethical and likely illegal. He will be disbarred. He will be investigated. And if the facts warrant it, he will be prosecuted. November is coming.
Aaron Parnas@AaronParnas

NEW: Epstein survivors release statement blasting Todd Blanche following the revelation that he worked alongside the White House to protect Trump from the Epstein files. "We deserve better. We deserve truth, transparency, and accountability. We deserve to be taken seriously when we come forward."

Brad, a 5% tax on Elon's trillion net worth would literally pay for free college and trade school for every American. And with the market's growth, he still would be worth over a trillion dollars! You don't think that's worth it?
Brad Gerstner@altcap

You are smarter than this Ro. Imagine if Bernie had taxed @elonmusk 100% on his PayPal capital gains. We would have no @Tesla or @SpaceX - none of those jobs or GDP. Who do you think allocated the capital better for society? He will already pay $100 B + in taxes - more than any human ever. I hope he donates some to kids via @TrumpAccounts to make every kid a shareholder in 🇺🇸 & continues investing all his heart, soul & money for the benefit of America & all humanity! 🇺🇸🚀🤍

@tedlieu The people that are stupid are the people that are running LA to the ground. Have you been downtown lately? It’s dangerous, it’s dirty and it’s an embarrassment. I’d respectfully suggest you focus on finding a solution to this rather than mock those who want to fix the problem

Today Spencer Pratt conceded and said: “I’ve been laser-focused on stopping these commie animals, and I will stop them.” If you think that type of MAGA campaign and language was resonating in deep blue LA where Dems massively outnumber GOP by nearly 4 to 1, then you are stupid.

A close friend of mine is cancelling his voter registration today. He is convinced Spencer Pratt was robbed of the election. I explained to him that in California we count absentees first (which skew older and more conservative) and election day voters are younger and more Democratic. The slow count is largely because of policies to maximize participation, including postmarking a ballot on Election Day. Regardless, we need to figure out in California how we can get the vote counted faster and results tabulated so it does not drag on. We should make the investments in operational improvements and resources in the wealthiest state in the nation. It is worth spending the resources to get the vast majority of the vote counted within 48 hours. Right now the system is eroding trust and spawning conspiracy theories.

Let’s be very clear what’s happening: MAGA operatives are working overtime to cast doubt on the LA Mayor’s race to justify passing their atrocious proposals to make it much harder or impossible for people to vote. They’re laying groundwork for straight up voter suppression.

@tedlieu @spencerpratt The California electoral system is a joke. Whether there is or isn’t voter fraud going on it is highly susceptible to it and it has become the laughing stock of the country. A large portion of the electorate lack confidence in it and regardless of party affiliation

A couple takeaways from the LA mayoral debate tonight: Nithya Raman is not LA’s Zohran Mamdani. No where close. No serious person in LA believes Spencer Pratt should be mayor. Karen Bass hasn’t been perfect, but she’s got a record & results to prove it.

1 year ago today, Dave Portnoy forced me to go to Auschwitz and apologize to the jews I refused — and Dave tried to ruin my life I was expelled from university, my post-grad job offer was revoked, I lost my “best friends”, was removed from my fraternity, received death threats, had my house broken into, and even got banned on Cash-app and PayPal These are the scare tactics jews will use to frighten you into submission Never bend the knee, never apologize, and always double down 1 year later, I don’t regret a thing.
