The government protects the companies and the companies tell the farmers its safe like glyphosate that should be banned out right, there is other ways to kill weeds and the pesticides are only creating super bugs that then need more powerful pesticides while there is plenty of new methods to control weeds and pests but farmers are stuck in their old ways/lied to.. also GMO crops should be 100% banned GMO corns not only is engineered to be resistant to glyphosate but also has pesticides built in to it just after seeing how the stuff we had wouldn't rot wouldn't grow mold wouldn't go sour bugs wouldn't touch it just sat on our back pourch after we decided not to eat the sweet corn Frankenstein corn and almost all products are made from this crap and ppl wonder why everyone and their dog/cat are getting cancer...

Sounds a whole lit like the old ways and irresponsibly, and yes any actually labeled pesticide is heavily restricted and extremely dangerous. I do agree that their needs to be way more responsibility, but thats more to be on the guy running chemical than the government to tell us what to do

Not sure how long you've farmed or where but here while there is a special permit/licenses farmers generally have to have I don't think they actually follow the safety/protocols they are required to hold to to get the licenses I think almost all farmers here would be in prison for violation of it but nobody does anything, farmers have been given a Oh we can't survive with out you so everyone turns a blind eye, as I know how hard farmers work since I'm technically a 5 generation son of a farmer My blood sweat and tears went in to helping my dad and grandpa farm about 1000 acres at one point and they were always telling me how safe roundup/glyphosate is and that roundup/glyphosate was 100% safe me and my cousin had a bath in it as kids helping my grandpa spray weeds around the farm and a hose ruptured and drenched us in it, my cousin has had a life long health problems likely related to it I'm highly allergic to it but I likely took a shower afterwords i doubt my cousin did since my grandpa was telling us it was safe because they were told it was... and glyphosate you can buy in bulk with no special permit and spray it when no regards to anyone.. now other herbicides and pesticides you do but often farmers still spray in wind even though its Illegal to do so we have our road depo that will spray the road quite a few times, the other farmer sprays the irrigation ditch by our house 3-4+ times even though we've asked him not to no weeds even grow in it hardly... I remember helping my dad spray pesticides as a kid and he told me 1 drop of the concentrate would kill you dead as a doornail we generally used extra caution unlike other farmers that dont.. but no farmers spray regardless of any wind, safety or humidity if they got bugs they want em dead yesterday... I remember my dad putting signs up around his fields when he'd spray some of those but I can't say I've seen any other farmers do that..

🔥The Farm Bill that includes my 🥩 PRIME Act pilot just passed the House! This is a game changer for farmers — and provides access to locally raised beef, pork, and lamb for consumers! We also stripped the immunity/state labeling ban for pesticides from the Farm Bill. MAHA!

@Farmerboynate @CoreyBladeZ @RepThomasMassie And dont get me wrong, A LOT of the chemicals farmers put down are dangerous. Thats why we have to watch windspeed, temperature, dew point, humidity, which way the wind is blowing, and have special nozzles for different chemicals. Just to cut down on drift and other dangers.

Everyone is so sensitive. It's not my fault Texas is one giant desert with terrible tap water. (If you don't understand these posts are humorous in nature, you're failing civilization.)

Many of the men I know who are amazing, and would make amazing husbands for women, live in just the most inconvenient locations. 90% are congregated in Texas and don't want to leave. Women don't want to live in Texas. The other 10% are in Canada. Women don't want to live in Canada. Basically, your options are permanent Summer or permanent Winter. This is a problem because we all know women love Autumn the most.

What's really funny is that if the NAACP hadn't gotten greedy and sued Louisiana for a second black district, SCOTUS wouldn't have had a case to review in order to overturn the relevant portion of the VRA.
