Who on Earth demands the demilitarisation of every country that borders you. Who the entire fuck do you think you are to even ask such a thing, let alone forcefully execute it

There are very few good English-language books on Iran. I recommend 'Going to Tehran' by two American scholars and former National Security Council officials. If US officials had listened to Flynt and Hillary Mann Leverett instead of Zionists, the US wouldn't be in this mess.

The West doesn’t care about Lebanon because the people dying aren’t white Europeans. If this happened in Ukraine, they would have sanctioned Israel within minutes. Western nations have a separate moral code based on race and religion.

Poland will always be grateful to Iran for hosting Polish refugees during World War II ❤️ In 1942, over 116,000 Polish citizens arrived on the Iranian shores of the Caspian Sea. This massive exodus included the soldiers of General Władysław Anders' Army, as well as tens of thousands of civilians. Among them were thousands of orphaned children who had just survived starvation, disease, and the brutal conditions of Soviet labor camps in Siberia and Central Asia. Despite facing their own severe wartime hardships, economic struggles, and food shortages due to the Anglo-Soviet occupation, the Iranian people and government welcomed the refugees with extraordinary generosity.

Sometimes, I silently praise how genuinely safe the UK is. You walk freely at midnight, you take the tube alone, you leave your laptop on a coffee shop table while you use the bathroom… or even forget your laptop bag on the train and it somehow finds its way back to you.

Your 20s & 30s are slipping away just surviving Nigeria. No house, no car, no exposure because you can’t travel, no craft to show your talent, zero savings, barely affording dates, drowning in endless bills from home; 40 is knocking & Ai may replace you before you’re ready.

There's such a concept as conservation of energy. Stop being a best friend to a best friend, to whom you're not their best friend. Don't go the extra mile for anyone who wouldn't do the same for you. Stop overextending. "No" is a beautiful word. Use it often.

Nigerians don't know that calling a Chinese "chinko" is a racial slur Its a slur that comes from the Americans & Brits calling them chinks. The other day I said Africans are racist and people were shocked. Ignorance & racism is some grave thing. Be educated

I was once Tunde, and I had an Emeka. This guy was the real definition of socialization, very good with his bosses and everyone around. Meanwhile, I was always the low-key one, doing things behind the scenes. Omo, this guy kept getting promoted while I got just one. I remember one time, during our boss’s birthday, he got him clothes, a cake, and even a mug with his face printed on it. That was when it really clicked for me. Socialization is an unspoken factor we seriously need to start talking about in the workplace.

The best engineer at that company did not get the promotion. The one who got it had half the output, twice the bugs, and a folder full of unfinished PRs. But he had lunch with the engineering manager every Friday. And Tunde was eating alone at his desk. This thread is about what nobody in tech wants to admit: Technical excellence without social capital is a career on a slow timer.

It's not clear how the truce between Washington and Tehran will play out. But one thing is certain - Iran has tested its nuclear weapons. It is called the Strait of Hormuz. Its potential is inexhaustible.
