Bristol Central has a Green MP. 70% of the vote turned out, of which 56% voted Green.
So Reform is happy to “punish” the 35,000 voters here that did not vote Green? Including at risk women?

Reform want to round up migrants and detain them indefinitely in areas that don’t vote for them.
Yet for most of our media, it’s those marching for Palestine who are creating hatred & fear.

When you are elected (for example even as a councillor) you should be there to serve all your constituents, not just those who voted for you.
You certainly shouldn’t “punish” voters who didn’t vote for you.

Migrants will not be able to leave these detention centres, and each will be held there a couple of weeks before being deported. And of the remaining areas, we will prioritise Green controlled parliamentary constituencies and Green controlled councils to locate the detention centres. It will strike a chord but only with Reform's existing voters.
Anyone outside of that would be against this and knows that it wouldn't stand as an actual policy to determine locations of detention centres should Reform get into power.
It's an improper use of Parliamentary power and wouldn't stand up as a legitimate reason to determine planning permission.
The only thing Yusuf has done is openly admit that a Reform government would only work for Reform voters.

This is actually unbelievable. Here, Zia Yusuf (Reform's 'Shadow Home Secretary') is effectively *threatening* voters by saying they will place migrant detention centres in their constituencies if they don't vote in a Reform MP or a Reform Council.
