@thymikee @SpotifyEng Unfortunately the mobile apps are the only usable apps for Spotify All web or desktop versions are unreliable to the point you cant change the music

what is a bug where you would join the company, fix it and immediately quit?

Its funny how Rozenite already feels like an essential piece of the RN ecosystem, and this new release pushes it even more 🔥 One of the cool new features is a File System plugin I worked on, to allow you to preview files in the hard disk, such as an image cache!
Szymon Chmal@ChmalSzymon

The new File System plugin lets you inspect files accessible to your app directly in React Native DevTools. It also includes agentic capabilities, allowing agents to use file access as part of debugging and investigation workflows. Kudos to @thiagobrez for the work on this 👏

Presenting native screens from React Native in a brownfield app sounds simple… until you actually try to implement it 😵‍💫 That’s why we built @callstack/brownfield-navigation - a clean, typed way to present native screens from RN. Built for better DX across RN + native teams 🚀

Which AI coding model actually writes good React Native code? We couldn't prove it either, so we built a benchmark. React Native Evals: 43 real-world tasks across animations, async state, and navigation. Read more on our blog ⬇️

we're working on a new devtool company the goal is to provide reliable feedback to humans and agents whether new feature/bugfix/refactor works correctly. it's time to remove testing bottleneck. DMs are open, feel free to reach out for early access!
Oskar@o_kwasniewski

agents are getting more and more capable every day. soon most of software development will look like: > make me feature XYZ > *agent works on this in the cloud*.. here is a pr then the biggest bottleneck will be testing. I'm working on a startup to solve this. DM if you are interested.

MiniSim.app reviews on gumroad ⭐ Seriously grateful for every single one 🙏 I’m setting MiniSim to $2.99 on Gumroad to support further development. It will be free on GitHub - forever. If MiniSim saves you time, supporting on Gumroad means a lot. 🙏

@birch_js Seems like it's a pattern for East Asia. We noticed the same for China

The more I speak with React Native and Flutter devs in Japan, the more I feel we’re like an endangered species. It’s all pure iOS and Android dev out here.

I built a world map of every major React Native event happening in 2026 From Kraków to Tokyo. From NYC to Portland. If you're building with React Native, this is your global calendar. Explore the map: nativeweekly.com/events

Sounds strange but 10.2.2 is the first version of react native storybook that was published with CI. The last 5 years I've always just run the publish on my local machine using lerna. It just never seemed worth it to spend time setting up CI instead of working on something else. This weekend though I've moved from yarn to pnpm and lerna to changesets. Maybe setting up turborepo next. Honestly this still kinda feels like busy work... it was working fine. However I can't deny I like tweaking the system. Just have to be careful not to fall into the trap of spending all my time configuring instead of coding. This is the kind of things LLMS are really great at doing at least so its mostly just directing. Heres hoping it stays working and I can not touch it for another 5 years 😄.
