One of the biggest bummers about shutting down @maybe is how much cool stuff just...disappears. :( We built so many legitimately amazing tools, systems, and UI/UX conventions. * Net worth calculator (vastly oversimplified...there's an obscene amount of functionality and code to make this work with bank connectors) * Financial advisory chat with audio/video (w/ immutable chat storage to meet regulatory requirements and an internal dashboard for the advisor) * Monte Carlo-based simulation/forecasting and goal planning * Performance benchmarking (S&P 500, Dow Jones, VTI, etc) * Inline, interactive financial education * Financial freedom calculator * FOMO calculator * Boglheads growth calculator * Crypto index fund * Compound interest calculator And we'd built out the foundation and first iteration on an AI-based chat tool to interact with your finances. Feels wasteful to essentially delete it all. But also, the infrastructure to make a lot of that work is just so complex that selling it doesn't really make economic sense without someone spending 6-figures and us spending weeks/months helping get it all set up and functioning.
