Have you ever heard the phrase: if you don't choose a day to rest, your body will choose it for you? Well, my body chose today. Tested positive for malaria yesterday. Today I took my antimalarial, drank hot chocolate, and just slept. 5 hours after dropping the kids off, despite the scorching sun and hot environment. Had a dream that I forgot my babies in school and it was 7:30 PM. 😭 I woke up in a panic and heaved the biggest sigh of relief when I saw 5:07 pm. Rest, guys. There's a public holiday tomorrow. Use it. Your body is not a machine. And even machines need maintenance. Replenish. 😌
